To provide a seamless e-commerce experience for laptops and accessories, we collect and process the following data:

• Personal Account Profile: Name, email address, phone number, and physical shipping address when you register, log in, or place an order.
• Media & Profile Images: Users have the option to upload a profile photo. The app requests access to select photos from your gallery, which are uploaded securely to Firebase Storage.
• Microphone / Audio Access: The app utilizes the device's microphone solely for the Voice Search feature (allowing you to speak into the search bar to find laptops or adapters). We do not record, store, or share your voice data.
• Device Identification & Notifications: The app collects basic device identifiers and FCM (Firebase Cloud Messaging) tokens to send real-time order tracking updates and notifications to your device.

2. How We Use Your Information

We utilize the collected information for various operational and customer-care purposes, including:

• Processing, packing, billing, and delivering your orders.
• Sending real-time order tracking updates and notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging.
• Assisting you through customer support and resolving order issues.
• Displaying personalized advertising via Google AdMob (for free app tiers).

3. Third-Party Services We Use

LappyKart utilizes reputable third-party tools that operate under their own strict privacy policies:

• Google Firebase: Used for secure user authentication (Firebase Auth), real-time database management (Cloud Firestore), and media hosting (Firebase Storage).
• Google AdMob: Used to display relevant advertisements to help fund the platform's free tier.
• Razorpay: Used as our payment gateway partner to process payment transactions securely. Razorpay collects and processes payment instrument details and billing information in accordance with their privacy policy.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard encryption protocols (HTTPS/SSL) to protect your personal details during transmission and storage. Your account passwords are secured via Firebase cryptographic hashing protocols.

5. Your Rights and Data Control (including Account Deletion)

You retain full rights to your personal information. You can edit your profile data, manage your shipping addresses, or delete your account at any time through the in-app settings screen.
